Lately you've been asking questions related to painting and creativity so here I decided to give you three little tips that I use in my daily life.
.
Create something every day, no matter how small it is. Many times I sit down to draw with "no inspiration". I used to just give up on it, but now I force myself through this part. I find that if I can bring myself to just start something, anything, often I'll keep going. Many times I've found that these are the pieces I love the most.
.
Writing things down. I always say I have Creative ADD. I jump from one thing to the next, to the next. To stay focused I write everything down in a planner so that when I do jump, at least I know where I left off. If I could choose just one tip it would be this one. It takes discipline to write down everything but once I started doing this I started getting so much more done day-to-day. Maybe I'll Insta-Story to show you guys my planner!
.
Get outside + take breaks. Your creativity might not be specifically related to the outdoors, but just getting outside everyday for a bit helps to clear your mind. The days where I try to power through often don't go as well as the days when I take a break: getting outside, exercising or even just putting on Netflix. Giving your brain a break allows you to work more efficiently.
